Completed 2006 This redevelopment of an operational terminal required detailed planning and co-ordination to ensure the airside/landside boundaries were maintained during all phases.

University of Otago
For over 40 years, the growth and modernisation of the University facilities have seen Pedersen Read involved in many projects. The $45 million Science precinct redevelopment is a recent example.
Southern Region Schools
Since the 1980s, our Dunedin office has provided the design for electrical, lighting, security, data and audio visual services to support the upgrade of Otago and Southland schools.
Rutherford’s Den
Completed 2016 Specialist heritage and retail fit out involving co-ordination of multiple electrical services and specialised emergency and exit lighting design.

1992–present Developing modern supermarket experiences and efficient support facilities through design of lighting, power, data and security systems has been the focus of this long standing relationship.
Spitfire Square
Completed 2015 For this greenfields retail and hospitality precinct by Christchurch International Airport, our design work encompassed electrical, lighting, data and communication services.
Wall Street Mall, Dunedin
Completed 2009 This challenging project included electrical, lighting, audio visual cabling, security and data services design for both the base building and many of the tenancies.

Southern Regional Health Facilities
Since the 1970s, Pedersen Read has provided professional services to the Southern District Health authorities, including the specialist electrical services required for medical facilities.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand
Since 2013, our Dunedin office has been involved in the refurbishment, extension and new development of over 40 Fire and Emergency facilities.

Dunedin City Council
For over 40 years, the team has worked on the development of many Dunedin public facilities. An example of a recent project is the modernisation of the Dunedin Town Hall.
Christchurch Art Gallery
Completed 2003 A world-class, elegantly illuminated, public building with functionality which enable the Gallery to be used by Civil Defence as the post-earthquake emergency centre.
The Arts Centre of Christchurch Rebuild
2014–present This massive restoration project has involved the complete replacement of the existing electrical infrastructure to create modern, energy efficient, and user friendly spaces which compliment the original design features.
